A: Absolutely! Our expert designers will help create your custom patch design, and we offer free artwork and unlimited revisions until you’re satisfied.

Q: Which types of files can I use for my artwork?
A: We accept jpg, png, gif, ai, eps, svg, psd, pdf, doc, xls, and ppt formats. Vector files are preferred, but raster files with at least 300 dpi are also acceptable.

Q: Are there any restrictions on the shape of my patch?
A: No, we can create patches in any shape you desire, thanks to our hot-cut border. Standard embroidered patches usually have a merrowed border.

Q: Can you create patches smaller than 2 inches?
A: Yes, but keep in mind that smaller patches may have limitations on design details.

Q: What is the maximum size for a patch?
A: We can manufacture patches up to 15 inches in width or height.

PATCH MATERIALS & QUALITY:

Q: What materials do you use to make patches?
A: Our embroidered patches use a poly-cotton twill background with 100% rayon thread. PVC patches are made from durable PVC vinyl.

Q: What are my choices for background?
A: We offer various twill background colors for embroidered patches and can match any color or Pantone shade.

Q: What border options do you offer?
A: We offer two primary types of borders:

·         Merrowed Border: A raised stitched edge, ideal for standard shapes (circles, squares, etc.). Provides a thicker finish.

·         Satin Stitch Border: Used for complex shapes or hot-cut edges, giving a cleaner, sharper look.

Q: Do your patches fade over time?
A: Our patches are highly durable and can withstand multiple washes without fading, as long as bleach is not used.

Q: Are your custom patches machine washable?
A: Yes, all our custom patches except hand-embroidered bullion crests are machine washable.

COLORS & EMBROIDERY:

Q: How many colors can I get on each custom patch?
A: We include up to 8-10 colors at no extra cost. More than 10 colors may have an additional charge.

Q: Can you match any color?
A: Yes! We have over 300 thread colors and can match Pantone, Madeira, Isacord, or Robinson Anton colors to the closest available thread match.

Q: Can I have multiple color versions of the same design?
A: Yes, but pricing may vary depending on the number of different color variations.

Q: What does “embroidery coverage” mean?
A: It refers to how much of the patch surface is covered with stitching. Example: 75% embroidery coverage means 75% of the patch has stitches, while 25% remains as the twill background.

BACKING OPTIONS:

Q: What backing options do you offer?
A: We offer various backing options, including:

·         Velcro: For easy attachment and removal.

·         Adhesive (Peel & Stick): Temporary use, ideal for events.

·         Heat Seal (Iron-on): Permanent but may not work well on PVC patches.

·         Sewn-on: The most durable option for long-term use.

Q: Do you offer Heat Seal backing for PVC patches?
A: Yes, but only upon client request. Heat Seal does not work well with PVC patches as they do not adhere properly when heat is applied. We highly recommend Peel & Stick or Sewn-on backing for PVC patches, with Velcro as a second option.

Q: What is the purpose of the tape backing?
A: Peel & Stick tape backing is best for short-term use, such as trade shows or events. For long-term use, we recommend Sewn-on or Velcro backing.

Q: Can I re-order the same patch from a different vendor?
